At last! a new sandpit.
On Wednesday the 17th of
April we celebrated the completion of our new sandpit with an early morning
launch party. Grant Robertson, our local MP, got up early to join us in marking
this important occasion for the preschool and to help Johanna cut the
ribbon. Once the formalities were over, Grant
and the children enjoyed getting stuck into the brand new sand.
Anyone who has been involved with the
preschool over the last three years will now be smiling when they pass by the
preschool or when they enter the playground. It has been a long hard journey.
Lots of sandpit supporters and
representatives from our local community came to join the celebration.
