We provide the Ministry of Education's 20 Hours ECE for 3 and 4 year olds. This entitles every 3 or 4 year old child to 20 free hours of education each week, to a maximum of 6 hours each day.
If a child attends for more than 20 hours per week their parent/caregiver will be charged for any additional hours.
In order for the preschool to claim the 20 Hours ECE funding from the Ministry of Education, parents or guardians must complete an “attestation form” on which they declare that they are claiming no more than 20 hours per child per week. The preschool teachers will provide you with a form to fill out, and will process it once it is filled out.
The fee for non attested hours for 3 and 4 year olds, and for two year old children, is $7.00 per hour. Where a parent/caregiver stays with their child during session time, there is no charge for the child to attend.
Parent/caregivers receive a monthly invoice for any fees owing for the previous month.
